Answering The Question: Is Google Dying?

Get $5 on your Balance +$5 on your Advertiser Balance

If you are getting started for the first time with search engine marketing, or if you have a small business that is fairly new, and you are just setting up your website, one thing you may hear from people is that you should focus on your online efforts on social media because "search" (or, because Google) is dying; this belief is still somewhat quiet, but because of the popularity of social media, this belief has been growing, and in order to understand the facts surrounding this belief, it will be helpful to look at some related statistics.

One of the first things you should understand, when it comes to the question of whether or not search is dying, is the number of people who use search on a daily basis; while there are about 65 percent of Internet users who use social media (which is a very high number, to be sure), an average of 92 percent of Internet users use search engines - every single day!
On top of the fact that so many people use search every single day (which, of course, is a number that is so high it is unlikely to increase any more), the number of actual searches conducted on a daily basis actually keeps on growing, as incredible as that seems; last year, the average number of searches conducted each day was an incredible three billion - and this number continues to grow each year!

And if all these things do not do enough to strengthen your resolve in the fundamental importance of search engine optimization, and in the continuing strength of search, one more interesting fact is that Google's natural growth rate is 18 to 19 percent per year; this is the overall growth Google experiences even without changing anything, improving anything, or coming up with any new innovations - all of which, of course, are things that Google does each year!

There is certainly plenty of merit to the idea that you should sink some of your focus into social media, as social media is very popular, but you should also realize that search is alive and well - and search engine optimization will be your best bet for online success!

Inductions Cookers in Your Kitchen

Get $5 on your Balance +$5 on your Advertiser Balance

Induction cookers gained a lot of interest a few years back as a cooker that could be turned on but would be cool to the touch. This was a very interesting concept for people with small children that you could have a burner that would hot burn your hand if touched.

You may be interested in incorporating the induction cookers into your kitchen. These hot plates are great because of their ability to heat evenly. They are supposed to be much closer to what cooking on a gas stove is like then an electrical stove. Electrical stoves are notorious for hot spots.  They burn on half the pan and just heat up the other side of the pan. Cooking on an unevenly heated electrical stove is hard to say the least.

An induction cooktop gives you the conveneinece of electricity with the heat of the gas burner. There is a catch though with these cookers you must be aware of. If the induction cookers are so great, why are we not seeing them everywhere? Unfortunately, there are only certain pots and pans that can be used on these great cook tops. The pans you use must be used of a ferrous material ( a megnate can stick to it) such as cast iron or stainless steal. If you don’t have one of these pots, you will have to purchase an induction interface disk, which is a chunk of metal that will heat up and then heat the pot or pan you are using.

There is a lot of physics involved with how these cookers work, but basically the cooktop induces heat directly in the metal of your cooking vessel itself not through an element liek an elelctrical stove does. The cooler cooktop comes from the fact that the cooktop is not actually what heats up. The pan gets hot but the element doesn’t.

How To Write Good Articles To Grow Your Website

Get $5 on your Balance +$5 on your Advertiser Balance

You may have come to understand that writing articles - and submitting these articles to article sites - is one of the best ways for you to create backlinks for your website, and for you to drive up direct traffic, but one thing you may still be trying to figure out is exactly what constitutes a "good" article.

Of course, good, competent writing should be the foundation of a good article, but while it is pretty much impossible to write a good article with bad writing, it is absolutely possible for you to write a bad article with good writing - and the content of the article itself will be your first defense against having a bad article: make sure the content relates to your site, and that it provides readers with valuable information.

After you have made sure that the topic you are covering relates to your site (doing so with good writing), you will also want to make sure the writing itself is conversational and engaging; do your best to cause readers to feel as though they are reading something written "to them" by someone they know, rather than making them feel as though they are reading some sort of business correspondence.

And making sure to leave your articles open-ended will be one of the biggest keys to getting clicks on the links you include in the articles you write; this can be a fine line to balance your writing along, as you will want to make your articles informative and worth reading, but will want to do so without giving so much away that your reader feels there is no need to click on the link you provide - so write with this goal in mind, and keep tabs on how many clicks you get on different articles, so you can determine which approaches are working and which can be discarded.

When you write articles with these tips in mind, you will be able to start increasing your site's search engine ranking and traffic - all by writing about a topic that relates to your site, and that you probably enjoy writing about in the first place!

Making A Family Holiday Great

Get $5 on your Balance +$5 on your Advertiser Balance

Doing things together that everyone in your family will remember fondly in the future is one of the biggest parts of having a "successful" family, as these are the things that truly bind all the members of your family together, and while there are certainly plenty of opportunities for doing this, one of the best opportunities you will have for doing things together and making memories is holidays; if you are looking for ways to further strengthen your family, here are a few things you can keep in mind for all the major vacations that pop up throughout the year.

The first thing you should realize is that traditions are a big part of having fun as a family, as these traditions will give all the members of your family certain things they can look forward to and expect as the holiday draws nearer; try to establish traditions within your family that everyone enjoys, and get in the habit of cutting out the traditions that your family is not especially attached to, as this will make room for newer traditions!

It can also be easy to fail to make the most of these days, and then to look back on them afterward and wish you had enjoyed the day more; rather than using holidays as a free day during which you can get done the errands and responsibilities that have been piling up, use the day as a complete holiday - setting aside the whole day to spend time with other members of your family, having fun and making memories together.

And of course, one of the best ways to bond with the other members of your family is for all of you to laugh together; regardless of whether it is over a game that all of you enjoy and get a kick out of, a movie that your whole family loves, or simply some conversation where all of you can chat and laugh together, laughing will give all of you fond memories you can look back on as you remember all the fun of the holiday.

Of course, all these ideas also hold true for any other time you and your family are all together, but realize that holidays give you the perfect opportunity to bond together and create memories, and keeping these tips in mind will help you to make this happen!

How To Watch NFL Games On Your Computer

Get $5 on your Balance +$5 on your Advertiser Balance

If you are an NFL fan – especially if you are a fan of a team that is not local – one thing that can be frustrating during football season is the fact that you are stuck with whatever games are on television; even if you have cable, you have no choice of what games you can watch, and if the games on television are of no interest to you, this can be especially annoying. Nowadays, however, there are actually several different choices for watching games on your computer, which is great news for those who are in this situation, as even though this will be a smaller screen than watching games on the television, it will be well worth it, as you will have a lot more options!

If you watch football games on Sunday, you have surely heard of NFL Sunday ticket, available through DirecTV, which allows you to pick and choose which games you want to watch on your television, but what you may not have known is that you can also watch the games on your computer if you have NFL Sunday ticket, which gives you the flexibility to watch the games anywhere where you have Internet!

Although NFL Sunday ticket is reasonably priced, there's still one problem with it, which is the fact that not every home can get DirecTV; if your house does not have a clear view of the southwest skies, DirecTV will not be able to work at your house – which means you will not be able to get NFL Sunday ticket. And this is where peer-to-peer sharing becomes a great tool; if you do a Google search of peer-to-peer sports websites, you will be able to find several websites that host live, streaming video of NFL games – uploaded by other fans!

There are many websites that require you to download software in order to watch the games online, however, so be careful; oftentimes, this software will be harmful to your computer, so make sure you are only watching games that allow you to stream them directly on the Internet, and that do not require you to download anything to your computer!

Tips For Making A Delicious Breakfast Burrito

Get $5 on your Balance +$5 on your Advertiser Balance

Being on the lookout for that next "delicious meal" is great, but sometimes, it can seem as though you have run out of ideas; if you have ever felt stuck with what you can prepare for yourself next, one idea to keep in mind is this delicious breakfast burrito - which you can make at any time of day! You will need a number of different ingredients to make this specific breakfast burrito - but chances are, you probably have most of them in your house already: eggs, cheese, meat (either chicken or steak), peppers, yellow onions, salsa, and flour tortillas.

Preparing the meat is the first step to making this breakfast burrito - and if you prepare a whole lot of it at once, you will be able to save some in a tupperware for later use; heat up some oil in a frying pan and add the onions, frying them until they are brown, then add the meat, and when the meat is nearly finished cooking, add the diced-up peppers.

With the meat now all set and ready to go, you can make your breakfast burrito whenever you want; toss the meat mix into a frying pan and crack a couple eggs over it, then scramble it all together - and when this mix of onions, peppers, meat, and eggs are almost finished, add a couple spoonfuls of salsa to the pan and mix everything together.

Take all this food and spread it onto a flour tortilla, sprinkle your cheese on top of it, and fold it up like a burrito, but don't eat it yet; add a bit more oil to the pan, and once the oil is hot, place the burrito in the pan and fry it up on both sides, until the tortilla is brown and crispy. At this point, you will have a delicious breakfast burrito on your plate, and the only steps left will be for you to let the burrito cool, and then for you to enjoy eating the burrito!

Keeping Your Grass Green In The Summer

If you are a homeowner, your yard will be one of the first things people will see when they visit your house, so it will be important that you not only know how to keep your yard healthy, but that you also know how to keep your grass green! If you have spent time working on your yard and have not quite figured out the tricks to make that grass green, you can follow these tips to figure out how to do it!

One thing a lot of people do not realize is that the length of your grass makes a big difference in whether or not it stays green; you should keep your grass about two to three inches in length, as this will keep the sun from reaching down to the roots of your grass and drying it out so quickly.

Water is a big part of lawn maintenance, but also, the manner in which you water your lawn is a big part of lawn maintenance; you should water in the morning or evening so that the sun does not cause the water to evaporate, and you should also consider watering twice per day in shorter increments in order to help the ground absorb more water.

Another big part of keeping your grass green is fertilizing your lawn, and while many people take the time to fertilize their lawn once per year, a lot of people fail to realize that it is best if they fertilize their lawn at least once per month!

Keep your lawn healthy with Miracle Gro Lawn Food!

Another thing that people often fail to do as regularly as they should is lay grass seed in their yard; rather than laying seed once per year, you should keep an eye out for any brown spots, and you should seed these areas when you see them.

If you do all these things, you will be able to have a yard that is not only healthy, but that is also immediately noticeable for its lush, green beauty!

Finding Productive Ways To Relax

Get $5 on your Balance +$5 on your Advertiser Balance

There are some people who never have a desire to do anything but relax all the time, but there is another group of people who has a much harder time relaxing, as what they really want to do all the time is be productive; for those who fall in either category, however, a mixture of work and relaxation is important - and when it comes to relaxation, the best way is to find those things that allow you to relax, while also allowing you to be productive, so that you are never just "wasting time."

Having a good book in your hands is one of the oldest and most productive ways to relax; when you read, you will be able to unwind and relax, while at the same time keeping your mind working, helping you to gain new knowledge, and helping you to broaden your horizons - and realize that when it comes to relaxing through reading, this does not have to mean nonfiction or instructional reading, but can mean fiction reading as well!

Going for a walk is one thing that many people find to be exceptionally relaxing, and when it comes to going for a walk in order to relax, the great thing is that it is also a great way to keep your body in shape; you might not think that "walking" counts as keeping your body in shape, but with regular walking, you will be keeping your muscles active and your blood flowing - all while helping your mind and nerves to unwind and relax!

And finally, grabbing a cup of coffee or a bite to eat with an old friend is one of the best ways to relax; keeping up with the connections we have made with other people throughout our lifetime is important for each of us, and when we sit down with an old friend (or even with a new one!), we will be able to relax, while also being productive in our maintenance of those ever-important relationships we have built.

Regardless of whether you are the type of person who only wants to relax all the time or who wants to always be productive, realize that relaxation truly is important - and productive relaxation is certainly the best way to go!

How To Enter A Disc Golf Tournament

Get $5 on your Balance +$5 on your Advertiser Balance

Everyone has different ways by which they prefer to get outside and relax and have fun, but one way that many people find to be especially fun is disc golf, as it is a sport that enables you to spend some laid-back time with your friends while you enjoy the outdoors and get some walking in, all with some easy-going competition as the background to your day. But if you have been playing disc golf for a while and have started to get pretty decent at it, and you think that you may want to enter a tournament, there are a few specific things you will want to keep in mind; after all, even if the prizes usually are nothing more than free, premium discs, it is still great to make sure you are at your best when you are competing against a group of other people.

Regardless of how often you typically play disc golf, you should try to play every day for the week or two leading up to the tournament, so that you can make sure you are at the top of your game when the tournament rolls around - but at the same time, you will also want to take the day before the tournament off, so that you will be completely rested and refreshed when it is time for the tournament to start.

As with any round of disc golf, bringing enough water and even some snacks to snack on will be important; after all, even if you are simply competing "for fun," it will not be much fun for you if your performance ends up being negatively affected by the fact that you have not had enough water to drink, or have not given your body enough fuel.

And probably the thing that is more important than anything else when you are competing in a disc golf tournament is that you make sure you are having fun; when you have fun and "just go with it," you will relieve a lot of the pressure from yourself, and you will be able to perform at a much higher level.

Get $5 on your Balance +$5 on your Advertiser Balance

There is a good chance that you and your significant other have no problem coming up with date ideas that are fresh and exciting if the two of you are in a new relationship or are recently married, but for many couples, their dates begin to become less and less exciting over time, as they rarely take dates at all, and when they do, they are usually nothing more than cursory exercises. In order to fulfill the goal of having a perpetually fresh and exciting relationship, it is important that you continually make an effort to go on dates that matter – and if you are looking to start taking dates that matter, here are a few ideas that will help you on your way.

One of the reasons why many couples fail to take dates that matter is because they end up doing the same things – taking the same dates – over and over again, but if you are wanting to make your dates count, one of the best things you can do is to try new things; even though this might sometimes leave you with dates that don’t work out as envisioned, it will also provide you with plenty of dates that are more fun than you could have hoped for, and that give you memories that last forever.

Overnight dates will be another great way for you to take dates that matter, and that provide you both with memories; look for ideas that will allow you and your significant other to do something special in the evening, stay the night somewhere, and have something fun planned for the morning as well.

And of course, one of the best ways to go on dates that matter is by surprising your significant other with a date idea; think of something that they will enjoy doing, and surprise them by taking them when they are not expecting it at all!

Oftentimes, the strongest relationships are those in which the couple keeps things fresh, and with these tips in mind, you will be able to plan dates that are fresh and new, creating lasting memories for the both of you to share.

Having Time In Your Day For The Things You Enjoy

Get $5 on your Balance +$5 on your Advertiser Balance

The fact that there is "not enough time in the day" is a common lament, and rather than figuring out how to maximize the time they have, many people complain about the fact that they wish there was more time! But unless you cut out sleep altogether (which is inadvisable!), you will not get more time in your day, so your best bet is to make an effort to learn how to maximize the time that you do have in your day, fitting in all the things you love to do.

One mistake a lot of people make, when trying to "maximize" their days, is that they realize they can fit in a little more work (making a little more money), but this "little more work" prevents them from having any time to actually enjoy their money! One of the biggest keys to making sure you maximize your time is creating space in your schedule for the things you enjoy - such as your hobby, your favorite sports team, your spouse, or your children - as this will not only make you feel more fulfilled in life, but will even regenerate you to a point where you are able to accomplish more during your time at work.

Once you look closely at your days (the days that you have maybe even complained are "too short"), you will often find that there are about one or two wasted hours throughout the day - five minutes here, and ten minutes there, all of which add up. In order to have time for the things you enjoy, you need to get into the habit of "streamlining" your focus throughout the day; when you do this, you will be able to cut out those wasted hours, which will leave you with more free time in the evenings and on weekends than you had before. And once you have this extra time, you need simply to focus on spending this time in a worthwhile manner - spending it with the things that you truly enjoy!
